Data protection notice

Data security and the sensitive handling of data are firmly embedded in our overall strategy and enshrined in our data privacy policy. Our data protection officers ensure that the policy guidelines are adhered to. This notice outlines how and why we collect and process data in connection with the use of our websites.

Security

WESSLING has put technical safeguards and organisational measures in place to protect your data from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction and from access by unauthorised parties. Our safeguards are continually improved and updated in line with developments in technology. 

Anonymous data collection

You can essentially visit our websites without revealing your identity. Data may be automatically collected at these times which might include the name of your internet service provider, the type of your browser and the pages which you access while visiting our websites. This information is processed for statistical purposes only and then deleted. Your identity as an individual user is not disclosed and you remain anonymous.

Personal data

We will only process personal data (e.g. your name, email address, etc.) if you explicitly and knowingly provide us with such information so that we can contact you or for the purposes of contract negotiations or usage of our customer portal. They will only be processed, saved and forwarded as and to the extent required for the purpose in any given case. 

Data will not be collected, processed or used for any other purpose unless you have given express consent in this regard.  This consent may be revoked at any time with future effect.

Your data will not be forwarded to third parties unless you make an express request to this end or unless it is a legal requirement.
