Microplastics are present in an every growing quantity in nature, representing a special environmental food safety and health risk

WESSLING featured in the Blue Planet and in the Forbes Magazine

Our company’s Tiny Plastic Riddle project launched last summer aroused huge interest: our initiative measuring the microplastic contents in domestic rivers was reported last time in the television programme Blue Planet and the Forbes Magazine.

Microplastics are present in an every growing quantity in nature, representing a special environmental food safety and health risk. The independent laboratory WESSLING Hungary Kft. therefore decided to measure microplastic contents in the surface waters of Hungary!

The achievements of the Tiny Plastic Riddle project have drawn the attention of the more and more serious problem of microplastics contamination.

The crew of the television programme Blue Planet, presenting environmental and nature conservation issues shot an interview recently in our laboratory. The recording is aired on the channel M1 on 10 December.
